Brown Fused Alumina

Brown Fused Alumina (BFA)

Calcined Bauxite is heated to Temperatures above 2000°C through smelting process in Arc Furnaces. Then slow solidification process is followed to get blocky crystals, which in other words is known as Brown Fused Alumina. Other strict controls over TiO2, Fe2O3 are followed to yield purity. High Abrasion & Corrosion resistance is the USP.

Application

Brown fused alumina is widely used as a raw material in refractories, ceramics shapes, grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, laminates, coatings, lapping, polishing, grinding and hundreds of other applications.
